Hello,
I
m a brazilian college student (coursing medicin since the begining of the year- it
s a little bit different here) willing to apply for a US good college. I got my SAT grades today and i was kind of disappointed with them, but i guess they don
t really make things impossible for me. 1860 570CR/770M/520W (5 on the essay). I had 1 month and a half ( only learned about financial aid about 2 months ago unfortunatedly) to study for it while not putting aside any of my current 40 credits (that
s a lot here) in college, thus, i believe i didn`t do that bad.
The 75 dollars application fee is pretty expensive for me so Im afraid I cant apply to more than 2 colleges. I was thinking about applying for the ivy league, but since i didn`t get good scores, i need other options.

If anyone could inform me about any good colleges which can offer a good financial aid package for international students with a SAT score like mine, i would appreciate (although i know it might not exist). In addition, i
d like to know which SAT subject tests combinations i should take (since i can
t take the 4 of them) for specific colleges. I`m pretty sure i can get a very good score in physics, chemistry, biology and world history (700+).
I`m also more interested in an academic carreer in something related to biology (most likely cell biology), which i believe makes the "international" part of my application less attractive. I can always stay in my current college, which is not bad, but i believe going to the US will be the most interesting option for me.

Read through everything (and I do indeed mean everything) at [EducationUSA | Study Abroad, Student Visa, University Fairs, College Applications and Study in the U.S. / America](http://www.educationusa.info/) Then make an appointment with the counselors at the advising center closest to you. There are several in Brazil [EducationUSA - Find an Advising Center](http://www.educationusa.info/Brazil) These counselors are expert at helping students from Brazil find good places to study in the US. They will be able to tell you whether or not you have a chance of getting enough financial aid to be able to come here to study.

Thank you,
Although i don
t really have much time to do that, I found that Cornell is a good option for me since they don
t look at the writing scores. Do you think i
ll be treated as someone who got a 670 score (arithimetic mean of CR + M)? If so… what do you think my chances are? The fact that i
m already a year throgh college will reduce my chances by too much?
EDIT Does Cornell give Financial Aid to international students need-blind?

You are a transfer applicant now. This means that you need to read each website very carefully to find out what steps you need to follow.

At Cornell, you could should investigate programs in the College of Human Ecology, in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, and in the College of Arts and Sciences. Each division has good programs in the biological sciences, but they are very different from each other.
