stuff that i can't really think about right now

I am interested in studying engineering, i like a college with a wide open campus, not in the middle of a city. I don't really mind the number of students attending. Not really interested in alcohol and weed like the last person asking for this service did.

Go to college pro-wler (without the dash, cc deletes that name) and they have a nice recommendation system where you put in stuff like school size, location, major, environment, and scores.

But from what you’ve stated here, it seems like you’d like Dartmouth and Cornell. They’re intense to get into, but they’d be nice reaches.

ty for the info i checked the website out and i will work with it tomorrow morning

My mother insists that i should not apply to Cornell because i will commit suicide and get depressed (usually happens the opposite way around) haha how bad could it be?

Many schools get an unfairly bad reputation for being pressure cookers and for having high suicide rates. Unfortunately, Cornell did have an unusual rash of suicides last year, and I’m sure that has many families worried. But I have a couple of very happy friends there who assure me that there is not widespread depression, and that those were freak accidents that garnered more publicity than most college suicides. (Because sadly there are suicides at colleges across the country.)

U Michigan is a great fit for you.
Northwestern and Cornell are also a great match.
Duke and UCB are slightly above you but I’m sure with good essays you will make it there.

I’d recommend Penn and Columbia but you don’t like a campus in the middle of a city sooo.
