So I need some blind-based schools since I am hella poor.

COLLEGES (Reaches/Matches/Safetys)?
I need help on this.
Please.

So does anyone also know any schools that offer great financial aid? I need a full ride seriously.

I'm not sure what else to include, but this is what I can think of as of now. Thanks for any assistance, and feel free to suggest any schools you want.

again, thank you.

Look at the link in the parents forum for schools that give good merit aid, and get your test scores up.

your SATs don't line up with the rest of you....can you take a prep class and re-do?

prep classes may just be an unnecessary expense. Retake your SATs if you can but don't worry too much about them. Give them your best shot. What kind of schools are you looking at? Universities or small lib arts colleges?

well.
i want to get into a university.
one with a strong poli sci program.
and great financial aid need.

your best shot is at a uc school in that case. try for santa barbara or san diego, maybe even ucla/berkeley with those grades. bring those sat's up a bit and dont get hammered the night before. best of luck in miluakee.

make sure your family fills out the fafsa form and the money issue should not be too big of a deal just need better test scores

yup, honestly, if you can get your test scores up you'd be a shoo-in for most of the UCs (though perhaps not UCLA and Berkely). Even so, you will probably stand a good chance of being accpted to the lower UCs... consider applying to some California State Us also, as they're easier to get into. Check into state honors progrmas as well, since you may get a lot of merit aide if you qualify.

Good luck!

Reaches- UCLA, UCB, Georgetown

Matches- George Washington University, UCSB, UCSD, NYU, UMich

Safety- UCD, American University, Boston University

Hopefully that helps, Good Luck

I would apply to the UC's...your SAT's are low for the upper tier UC's. Good luck! :)

well. i've been practicing for the ACT lately. so hopefully i'll take the test this fall and score around 31-33 range.
and last, i really dont want to stay in california.
i want to branch out.
to brownplease: i wont haev a good time in milwaukee. theres only 27,500 asians here. if anything, i want to be traded! x]
to better: thank you. i really like georgetown university but they offer little aid. which stinks. so yeah
i am pretty sure i can raise my sat 2s subjects from... 600 to 740+ with study
and with the sat reasoning, i can try to raise it up to at least 2000

i sort of want to just go for yale. because it's such a great school
but it says they require 3 sat subject tests
so i took three.
us history, chemistry, world history.
does ths count as three or only two cuz us and world are the same "areas"?

they only need 2 now. New policy starting this year. check their website.

USH, WH and chem count as three. And whatever, it's always good to have more than the minimum to be competitive.

bumppppppppppppppppp

foooooools

how can you take 8 classes i dont even get that

and what does bump mean, someone must tell me this

yij~ as someone on the east coast, from the list of a previous poster, i'd say due to your SATs, i would not consider NYU,UMich, nor GW as matches. i'd say GW and American are not even safeties, and the others are reaches. but as i said, only because of the standardized tests. are you first generation? that would make a difference. but because you are also looking for money, thise aforementioned schools are looking at 700s.

yi jianlan?hahahaha, good thing hes going to milwakee

how can you take 8 classes i dont even get that
easy.
ap govt and ap econ are one semester each.
