Hi Guys

So here is the deal; I am a male Canadian student of mixed racial backgrounds (though I look Caucasian) and I just finished my junior year in high school. I have decided to peruse colleges in America due to its wide selection and the unparalleled alumni network available at many institutions for my favoured field, business. As for expenses my parents can cover it (they might not be happy but will do it provided they recognize the institution). What I would like to know from you very knowledgeable people, who happen to live in the proper country, is as follows; What would be some match schools for me and would it's alumni network bring me closer to Investment Banking than their Canadian counterparts? :)

Now the fun begins:
Academics: I have no AP's yet because my school does not offer them until senior year however next year I have signed up for seven (bad idea?-Calc,Stats,The two English ones :P, Physics and phych). Although I have not taken AP's I have taken the most rigorous course load by adding an extra language and taking courses outside the timetable to fit in more. In Junior year I completed 10 courses in sophomore year I completed 12 however that includes those such as planning and half IB course (idk if they are worth anything) and in Junior I completed 11. I am not sure if this counts as rigor.....

As for grades I have always achieved an A average throughout my highschool career however in my country one only needs an 86% to achieve this. My weakest courses are (those that I have received B's in) French, I have Japanese completed up to the highest level with A's throughout to counter that, English Pre-Ap, and socials studies on-line (what a nightmare!). All of my other courses have always been A's.

If any more info on this. I will tell you swiftly.

Extracurriculars: I have been a part of a local community band since fifth grade and have participated in many large scale productions and most notably a tour in Europe. I was also in the school concert band but I had to replace it with academics however I still take jazz band outside the timetable. I played Rugby and Wrestled in junior year however both got discontinued. I did cross country in sophomore and junior. I also boxed in junior year. I wrote a book (not published) though it was pretty bad. I have a scuba diving license. I took a Me To We trip to India to build a school. I am an award winning executive and chairperson of the school Rotary Club and an executive of the Environment Club. I am the founder and editor of the school newspaper. I came second place in highest tier of the Junior Achievement business challenge. And I plan on getting an internship at a Bank of Montreal next year of this summer.

Wow I hate doing this, limiting my worth to the things I've done.....

And as for SAT and letters of recommendation. I am taking an SAT prep course so I will hopefully get over 2k on my SAT and I have no problems with earning teachers love :P

PHEEW that is all, any help would be great because as you know I am not American so I do not have nearly as much knowledge of colleges as you. Thanks a million!
