College?

I have been wondering what I should do after high school. I am currently a Sophomore. I want to be an entrepreneur. I want to know which are the best colleges, education wise. I don't really care what others think of the college I just care that I learn what I need to know so that I don't make the same mistakes that others make, and so that I can manage my business properly. I would also like to know which is the best or are the best majors, and if there are equally good alternatives to the classic four years of college. I have noticed that rankings are mostly (if not completely) based on prestige, so I hope I can get better insight here. With my current grades and my being in Honors/AP classes I can get into most colleges but again prestige doesn't matter to me.

It would also be nice if you include colleges that are more likely to offer full rides to someone with really good scores and grades. I have heard that new and not so popular colleges offer better aid to those with strong academic skills. Not completely sure about the last part though.

Thank you

Its easy to start your own business, if that is what you want? But first of all, how much money do you have? I am a business broker, I help ppl buy and sell business all day. So, if you want be in a business, you need capital, I’d say $150,000 to start anywhere USA. If you have $150K, you need only the most basic skills which you can learn in a community college for a year or so. You also need the instinct to select a good business to work with. The $150K will buy you a low end franchise and the franchisor will help you to establish your business. Or you can use the money to open a store and hope for the best.

No money?

Have you sold lemonade when you were young? When you are older, have you raised fund for shools by going door to door? If you have, you can start with sales and go door to door to sell some thing, service, real estate, insurance etc etc. That does not need a lot of capital, but lots of burned heels on the pavement.

You want to work for some one as a living?

Goto college. Because work[ in McDonalds is not getting you anywhere near entrepreneurship.
