<p>I am currently a senior in high school and have started applying to colleges. I was just wandering whether University of Miami or UCF would be a better school for pre-dental studies? I go to a pretty small high school and UCF would be a pretty big leap but when I visited it I was surprised to find that I actually really liked it. I really liked Miami too but I was just wandering which has a better pre-dentistry programs?</p>

<p>For pre-dental/med stuff, it’s usually best to go somewhere cheap. Admission to dental, or medical, school usually has more to do with GPA and standardized test scores than the prestige of your undergraduate school. </p>
<p>My parents actually would prefer for me to go to UM over UCF. The prestige of the school is not really what I’m going for, I just want to know which school would better prepare me for dental school. Thanks for the reply!
