I have a history of many SAT sittings (six of them, in fact) and very, very, low SAT scores (like, 1600's). I took two SAT Reasoning tests, once each in my freshman and sophomore year.
So late into my Sophomore year, I decided to ditch the SAT Reasoning and mainly focus on the ACT and the SAT II's.
When I chose early which schools I wanted to send my SAT II reports to this month (Dec), I thought Collegeboard would ONLY send the subject tests I took during that sitting (or I would able to use Score Choice to send only my subject test scores). But no, no, no... They sent my entire SAT history report!
So, of course I am panicking at the moment; I sent my ACT score of 28 to my schools before, which is significantly higher versus my 1600's (but I know is still low, regardless).

The problem is that I have always left my SAT Reasoning scores blank in the applications, and now they can see my shameful score. I know that they will take the highest scores among testings, but I honestly don't think they'll take the highest score from /two/ different testing agencies.
So, do you think them seeing the low SAT Reasoning scores and low multiple SAT II scores will hurt me more in my admissions process? I mean, seeing the 28 ACT score is already pretty bad, but I don't know how they'll react towards the SAT scores I failed to mention in my applications and the many attempts at the SAT IIs.

I just lost what what was left of my dimly lit hope of even being considered to my schools all because of Collegeboard.
-sigh-

CB always sends all scores unless you actually exercise score choice. To have done that all you had to do was to go into your on-line registration for the Dec test on or before Dec 13 and set colleges for your free sends and uncheck any prior scores you did not want to send. Did you do that?

Whether you mention scores in app means nothing as they go by official scores and won’t penalize you for not listing things in the app. Colleges assert they will use higher score between ACT and SAT for admission if you provide both. So you can either believe what they say or instead assume they are scumbag liars; take your choice.

Note, you should also find out what your high school does with transcripts; many put all your test scores on your official transcript sent to colleges so regardless of whether you exercise score choice the colleges might have still learned of all your scores.

I never saw that option of unselecting which scores to send, only which colleges I would like to send them to. I thought they’d only send the scores that day; I should have delved deeper to find the score report options…

My high school transcripts doesn’t include any of my test scores, so I thought I could get away with only sending my subject tests, but I guess not.

But thanks for alleviating my worries regarding the college admissions; if anything, it could be considered an “upward” trend? Haha, wishful thinking. All I hope for is that my freshman/sophomore SAT scores won’t deter them from my application!

They will see that you took the SAT Is in freshman and sophomore years, and know that scores tend to go up 100 or so points for each year in school… ie. an 1800 as a Senior is similar to a 1700 as a junior, a 1600 as a sophomore and a 1500 as a freshman.
