Collegeboard: the nonprofit organization

Collegeboard says it is non-profit.

BS, right?

i agree hahaha.
43 bucks per test, over 3 mil?? students?
so... u do the math lol, roughly 120 mil dolla?

um yeah, they are the furthest thing from a non-profit that I've ever seen. ever. no exaggerations. seriously. 80$/AP exam? come on.

I'm not defending them, but they do have to develop all those tests, maintain relationships with the colleges, print and score all the tests, yada yada yada. I'm sure that costs something.

By that standard, Harvard also isn't non-profit, with its tuition and its large endowment.

Non-profit does not mean that an organization does not make money. It means that the money it makes continues to be used for the benefit of the organization, and is not distributed to owners or shareholders.
