Colleges Acknowledge SAT and ACT Score Cut-Offs in Admissions

<p>It’s disappointing, yes, but somewhat expected. Admission, after all, in many cases is a number game. It is unfair that some students, who have money to find prep places, do better than those who can’t. But, that’s the way somethings run. This article just tells us the reality, which is something that most people already knew about.</p>

<p>It’s hard to imagine how a school like UCLA, which gets 50,000+ applications a year, processes them all.</p>

<p>The more interesting finding was that admissions at selective schools takes note of small differences between high SAT scores.</p>
