Colleges and Universities Forum Revamp

Guys,

In addition to updating the alphabetic list of colleges with the missing schools (i.e. Barnand, Bates, Bowdoin, Bryn Mawr, Davidson) we’d like to also take this opportunity to create any needed new school-specific forums.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions and we’ll validate with the moderators team that there is indeed interest and discussions to support the request.

Thanks,

Sorin

Guys, we’ve created the two requested forums. Thanks!

Thank you!

@MaineLonghorn, do you think there is enough activity/demand to support this request? Thanks!

I see eight posts in the past year.

Doesn’t seem like enough interest to warrant a separate forum, then.

That’s what I thought! Thanks for confirming, guys.

How about a forum for Catholic and/or religiously affiliated colleges and universities? I feel like I see frequent posts about people looking for ideas for Catholic universities and colleges. There are many regional ones that probably wouldn’t have enough traffic on their own but could be highlighted under the Catholic college umbrella.

@CCadmin_Sorin
It seems strange that Oklahoma State University does not have a dedicated sub forum.

I see 325 Oklahoma State posts in the past year.

@vonlost
Where?

I don’t see a sub forum listed for it here:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/alphabetic-list-colleges/

nor here:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/o/

nor here:
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/oklahoma-state-university/

I must be missing something.

@DavidPuddy, vonlost means there have been 325 OSU posts in random places. @CCadmin_Sorin, that would be enough to warrant an OSU forum, right?

They are strewn about in many fora. I did an Advanced Forum Search on “oklahoma state” for one year.

@MaineLonghorn
Then … maybe there should be a sub forum for it was my point.

There are sub fora with minimal active posts after all. If Ohio Northern has a sub forum, one would think Oklahoma State warrants one.

@DavidPuddy, that is why I flagged Sorin, to see if he will create one.
