<p>do colleges or universities favor national clubs over school clubs? I recently founded a club at my school, however it is not a branch of a national club. Would it be better to choose a national club like Key Club/H.O.S.A/M.E.S.A instead of a club i created? </p>

<p>It doesn't matter if it's a nationally-recognized club at all. If it's a club, it's a club in the eyes of the admissions officers. Good luck! :)</p>
<p>Anything, if you put your heart into it (fo realz, not fo sho), will look better. Just because it's prestigious doesn't mean its good. As long as the club is serious and you can prove that you did it for a real reason (i.e. not necessarily for college applications), it will be fine.</p>
