My daughter is intertested in art education, she has been accepted to University
of Vermont, Ithaca, and Towson. Does anyone have any idea of how these three schools compare to each other. Any info you can provide would be of value. She needs to make a decision by May 1st and is having a hard time.
Thank
Dan

I'm surprised you didn't mention Maryland Institute College of Art since it's 5yr program with an emphasis in art education is well known.

You might want to check it out.

You probably already know this but.... if you attend UVM and live in a state where the university system does not offer a degree in Art Ed, you would pay in-state tuition at UVM. Not a perk of course if you live in Vermont !

Problem with MICA is tution is very high, one advantage with Towson is that many of the adjunct professors also teach at MICA.

Towson also has brand new facilities. I think Towson will be up and coming for art. I just don't know how good they are now. I do know that they aren't NASAD accredited.
