No, she hasn’t visited Kettering.

Is that in the plans?
With a 23, even with 26 in math, her choices will be limited.
Good luck visiting Michigan Tech!
If she likes it, she can look into FIT and IIT.

My mom hasn’t mentioned Kettering, but she did mention the Milwaukee School of Engineering. I don’t know about engineering schools specifically, but I got a 23 as well and I was accepted to about half of the schools I applied to (I applied to some very selective ones.) I am happy where I’m at - my 23 got me into a great place and I’m hoping that the same will happen for my sister. Me getting a higher score would not have changed a thing. :)

yes but your sister is aiming for engineering… many colleges of engineering like to see 30 in math, for instance.

Kettering has great co-op program but your sister might not like Flint.
I would try Ferris State or Central Michigan.

Looking further, she may like Rose Hulman? A reach, but excellent technical education (and her other criteria would likely be met, too).

^ Yes, I’ve been telling our mom about Rose. It’s supposed to be really good for what my sister wants to study.

Why are you trying to pick a college for your sister? She’s not going to listen to you! Leave her alone!

^ I’m not trying to pick a college for her. I’m trying to find some for her to visit before she applies later this year.

My sister visited Michigan Tech this weekend and she liked it. Mom thinks that she will apply.

Good news. She can look into Lawrence Tech and Kettering, she may also like Rose Hulman… lots of possibilities.
here are a couple more she may like
