<p>Actually, I would think being from Puerto Rico makes you more competitive. Schools want geographic diversity. What is that 4.17 GPA out of? 5? That’s not great, but you have some leadership, so I’d say you’re pretty competitive for top schools. Anyways, check out that link I posted, it was the first thing I though of since Whitman’s environmental studies (which is really strong, check out their Semester in the West) is a coordinate major, which means you major in another area of study as well, and one of the choices is politics.</p>
