I posted this in another forum last night but wanted to post it again here in the more proper forum.

I already have my Associates of Fine Art degree in graphic design. But am not sure what school to continue my bachelors degree in.

TRADITIONAL COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY
So far it seems at a traditional college they want students to take a bunch of general education courses that have nothing to do with my major, such as science, writing,painting,etc...To complete this it would take me 3 years if I went full time taking 4-5 courses a semester.

ART SCHOOL/TECHNICAL COLLEGE
They seem to focus more on my direct major and field and offer classes that would help me get my degree quicker. You would probably be taking one course at a time for long periods everyday. I can have my degree completed within 18 months.

Here are the list of schools I applied/want to apply to...
-University of North Texas (they offer BFA in Visual Communication, nationally accredited)
-Rhode Island College (they offer a BFA in Graphic Design, nationally accredited)
-Academy of Art University (it is a for profit school, taught by those in the industry)
-Platt College San Diego (for profit school, career school accredited only)
-New England Institute of Technology (seem to only offer AS in Multimedia/Graphic/Web Design, regionally accredited)

USNews ranks Rhode Island College #122, University of North Texas is unranked, and the rest are unranked.

What school would be better for employers and give more experience for the work force after graduation?
