Colleges judging based on ethnicity

So I am a Asian Male that is not the typical Asian. I don’t have those amazing sat scores (2100 for me btw), nor do I have the awesome gpa (3.8). Now I know, people always say “Ohh, what are you saying? These scores are amazing!!!” The problem is that being asian, i am going against mostly other asians, and obviously I am much lower than these other asians. I feel that even if a white or black person gets my stats, they would be accepted to a good school, while I would be rejected. Should I do something about this? (Hide my ethnicity)

PS I really want to go to Dartmouth college

2100 is the average SAT score for blacks in the Ivy League. 2240 is average SAT score for whites in the Ivy League. 2300 is average for Asians. What I’m trying to say is, your chances wouldn’t be very good even if you were not Asian; you would be average. Aim a little lower, or write killer essays

Hiding your ethnicity won’t help. Colleges will automatically assume that you are White or Asian.

There’s nothing you can do to hide your ethnicity.

Race-blind schools may be helpful to look into.

your scores are too low for a school like dartmouth, and below that tier, asian ethnicity won’t count against you as much.
