<p>I am looking to major in biochem and was for the longest time looking in to both of these schools, but have yet to make in definate decisions. I like AC over BU but the problem is I live close enough to AC to know that I do not like the local area (I was born in Sherman), however, BU seems to be somewhat overrated for their price. I was wondering about other schools, preferably in the south or west, that are on par with these schools.</p>

<p>Yeah, thought you might have meant Baylor when you mentioned South...yeah, this isn't my territory of advice, south...see what I can think of.</p>
<p>Check out Southwestern in Georgetown and Trinity in San Antonio. I am not a Baylor fan, but I agree that Sherman is not the most thrilling place in Texas. However, neither is Waco. University of Tulsa is an excellent school. What about Texas Tech's honors college?</p>
