Do colleges send out your admission decision to your high school?

They didn't when I was in high school. Back then, (six years ago) colleges mailed decisions to either your home address or the address you put on your application. At my high school, if you were accepted by a particular school, you took your acceptance letter to school, brought it into the house office (I went to a magnet HS that was separated into smaller "theme" houses) where the house secretary would make a copy of it and post the letter on a bulletin board in the office.

plain and simple... some do and some don't.

I've heard of students notifying their high schools about their admission decisions. But the college directly notifying the high school? Haven't heard of it.
