Do colleges send out your admission decision to your high school?

Unless you indicate yor schools address as your home address then maybe. However 99% of the time the colleges send you an acceptance or rejection letter to your home address. I'm still waiting for mine.

No, at the end of the year we all self-reported where we were going. They had no idea who was accepted where. I even had to notify my GC of my admissions decisions.

Nope, my GC didn't know about my decision until I brought her a thank-you card a few days afterwards.

I would guess that legally colleges can NOT tell a high school unless the applicant gives the college permission to do so ... that is a total guess on my part

Is the OP trying to get out of ED, so s/he wants his school to send mid year reports to all his/her RD schools? Aside from that, I have no idea why anyone would care if your highschool was notified about your deciison. I think your school is notified because schools keep statistics about their college admissions.
