<p>What if that’s not what I want? I want an education for its own intrinsic values. I like to learn. I hate leading people and I hate being lead by people even more.</p>
<p>What colleges are you talking about? 90% of colleges and universities in America does not care about your leadership potential. If you can hold a pencil, type, read English at an above-remedial level, and show that you can foot the bill, then they will welcome you with open arms. The last 10% uses “leadership” to distinguish the 2400s from each other.</p>

<p>And Reddune, I’m pretty sure when the majority of people on CC are talking about “good” colleges, they’re referring to top 50ish, maybe less. And those are the colleges that take leadership positions into account…</p>
