Colleges Of Similar Quality to University of Tulsa and Rhodes College.

Hey, everyone! I’m currently looking at colleges and my top 2 are University of Tulsa and Rhodes College (in Memphis), with my third choice being St. Louis University. Do you oknow of any colleges of similar colleges to the three I mentioned? I’m looking for a mid size college (~2k-10k undergrads) in the warmer part of the United States. I’m not really into the Greek scene so I don’t want to go to a school with a huge fraternity scene. Thank you!

Trinity University (TX) maybe?

Trinity was my first thought as well.

Eckerd and Hendrix have no Greek life, and Rollins has a pretty small Greek scene.

Seconding Trinity, Hendrix, Eckerd .
I would suggest Center but Greek life is pretty big. Same for Transylvania, perhaps mitigated by the fact it’s in a city.
Southern Mississippi? UTampa? St Edward’s?
Guilford? Berry? If a girl, Agnes Scott, Spelman?
Depending on stats, Davidson, Emory?

Maybe New College of Florida. Check out the merit scholarships for OOS freshmen.

Maybe Warren Wilson, if you’d consider a work college (one with its particular vibe).

As an alum I can say it is a fabulous school. Greek life is a big thing at Rhodes, but the school is small enough that students have friends and live in the dorms with kids from other Greek groups and non Greeks. You might look at other colleges on the Colleges that Change Lives list. https://ctcl.org
