Colleges still accepting applications.

I'm an international student and I have been rejected or waitlisted from 4/8 colleges so far. The chances of me getting into the ones I still have left are pretty slim. So I was just wondering if anyone can suggest a few colleges where I can still apply to.

SAT 1 730 CR/730 M/ 680 W
SAT 2 720 M1C/770 Physics/ 780 Chem
My school doesn't have a gpa system, it follows the British O and A level system.
O-Levels 8A's out of 8 subjects
A-Levels 3 A's out of 3 subjects

I am looking to double major in mathematics and economics. I would prefer a state university as they are cheaper and I can only afford to pay around $25,000 at most.

Check out the rolling admissions schools.

It may be too late to apply for many school for fall admissions, but if you are willing to wait to start classes until spring 2009, you may have better luck.

BTW, it’s not uncommon anymore for colleges to admit new incoming students to begin in the spring term. Some places now do it routinely because they know they will typically experience X number of students who flunk out or just do not return for the spring term.

Good luck!

^ i have already taken a gap year and am not willing to waste any more time and my parents wont allow it either. thanks for the info though

Suny Geneseo, Suny Stony Brook, WVU. Deadline is April 1st for all three. Indiana University has no deadline. Good luck

BUMP

@steelerfan513 the list you provided was somewhat helpful but many of the colleges prefer you apply by march 15th or april 1st which is a bit late for me

will appreciate a few more suggestions

University of New Mexico has a May 1st application deadline–but that applies to US students only. Are you living in the US or abroad?

The Colorado State University website says they are still taking applications.

Try CUNY City College’s Teacher’s program. I got a notice from them near the end of February telling me I could still apply.
