Colleges that are almost Free!

Are there any colleges where tuition is almost zilch; under 10 K a year?? (Excluding schools that offer scholarships and community colleges)

For example:

The Service Academies: West Point, Naval Academy, etc
Deep Springs, CA
City College of NY (<$5 K for in state)
Cooper Union

Any others?

Olin?

/10char

BYU; annual tuition is like 3K if you’re mormon and 7K if you aren’t

i still wouldn’t go there. however it’s supposed to have pretty good connections for investment banking and/or harvard business school.

Florida has some of the cheapest state schools around, around 3,000 in tuition and pretty lenient residency requirements last time I checked. Lots of people from NJ go to school in Florida, too.

Berea in KY

Thanks - Any more?
Re: Florida-- isn’t there one that was opening in the Naples area- founded by the president of Pizza Hut?

FYI- from website :Berea in KY charges no tuition and admits only academically promising students, primarily from Appalachia, who have limited economic resources.

College of the Ozarks
Webb Institute

Olin is only a half-tuition scholarship now, i.e. really expensive

Alice Lloyd offers free tuition. Like Ozarks and Berea, it’s a Work College.

All of the UNC system schools are free if you attended NCSSM.

Georgia is free for all in-state students (if they had a 3.0 from HS).
