<p>can anyone please make a list of top 50 colleges that don't count SAT writing?</p>
<p>I'm writing this from memory, but I'm pretty sure Swarthmore actually says on their website that they don't consider the writing score at all... Someone check?</p>
<p>One easy (but not always 100% accurate) way to check is to look at collegeboard - if the school doesn't post writing scores, they probably aren't giving them much weight yet.</p>
<p>Here's what Swarthmore's saying:</p>
<p>"While we value the writing components of the SAT and ACT, we do not read the timed essays. We feel that the essays students write on the Common Application and Swarthmore supplement tell the admissions committee much more about a person and his or her possible fit within our community."</p>

<p>So, basically, they do not completely disregard the Writing section</p>
<p>georgetown doesn't look at sat writing</p>
