Just curious about which schools would be my "match" schools. I know that it's difficult to judge based on so little info, but sometimes people can get in the ball park.....

ACT: 22, 23, (24 Superscore)

GPA: 3.94 weighted (unweighted is close)

I know there are so many other factors, but is this enough info to determine matches?

I'm looking in the Midwest and East.

What schools do you want to attend, Ivies, top publics, LAC’s? That’s some serious grade inflation at your school.

What can your family afford?

In addition to lakeawead and Erin’s Dad’s questions, what do you plan to study? And if you tell us what your reaches are and why, we can probably find schools that are less selective but of the same ilk.

Also, given your grades, your test score seems very low. Are you planning to try the SAT? You might want to.

My school doesn’t inflate. I’m 9/191 for GPA, but people who are way below me in rank got better scores. Many kids got 30+. My class is super competetive.

In other words, it’s just me. Our valedictorian with a GPA of 4.0-something applied to Harvard and MIT. I know at least 5 people who got into UMich, and they’re not necessarily above me in rank.

Reaches? I would say Uchicago is one - I got deferred.

One kid in my class who got a 32 on the ACT was REJECTED from there.

Test scores aren’t the end-all-be-all.
therefore, I do not plan to retake either test.

I’m interested in LACs mostly.

$$…all I know is that my family will pay for food. My EFC is about $8500.

You should really, really either retake the ACT or try the SAT. It would put you in a great position.

I took the ACT twice: after doing worse the second time, I don’t really want to take it again.

I would like to study anthropology.

I would say to look at Test optional schools that meet full need because your scores are just average, even though your GPA and class rank are good. [SAT/ACT Optional 4-Year Universities | FairTest](ACT/SAT Optional List - Fairtest) At this point you’re obviously just wondering since it’s pretty late to be looking at schools.

^ of course: I applied to 23 schools total. :)

A few of them were test-optional: Bates, Bowdoin, ConnColl, Denison, Dickinson, Earlham, Knox, and Trinity.
