Hi, I'm a highschool senior looking to add to her as-of-yet college list. So I was wondering, which colleges offer Dual Degree programs for a BFA and a BA? Doesn't have to be in different colleges...

I know of: RISD and Brown, and Tufts and the School of Museum of Fine Arts.

There must be more. Right?

Just about any school that offers a BFA also offers a BA in that field. What are you looking for in the BFA anyway? Design? Theater? Dance? Music Performance? What BA are you looking for?

Without knowing your potential BFA and BA majors, we can't help you all that much. Please give us more information.

Oh sorry! Ok. I don't know my intended BFA major, but my BA major would be the fine arts (whether it be painting, sculpture, drawing, haven't decided).

Thanks in advance!

i think you have it the wrong way, your BFA would have to be in a studio art or design major ie Fine Arts or Graphic Design or Fashion Design, or INdustrial Design, your BA would be in something like Art History, English, Business, Sociology etc.

Parsons School of Design does this, which is joint with the New School University

as i understand, harvard and northwestern have 5 year programs that are dual BA and BFA in music performance. i also have a friend doing a dual degree in music performance and engineering at UCF.

My mistake. Yeah I did mean BFA would be in the fine arts.

Carnegie Mellon offers a BFA program; I imagine you could double with something else if you want. CMU School of Art | Programs | Academic | BFA
