<p>Harvard sent a bumper sticker, and then we got an email offering us a free Coop membership and Harvard 2017 t-shirt.</p>
<p>I can see it now, printed on the T-shirt:</p>
<p>“I paid 75 bucks to apply to Harvard and spent 20 hours filling out the application, and all I got was a lousy T-shirt”</p>
<p>I applied to 20 colleges and I obviously applied to the wrong ones. I didn’t get a single college souvenir!</p>

<p>The Texas A&M honors college reject letter actually comes with a bumper sticker.</p>
<p>NYU gave folders to some people who went to Weekend on the Square.</p>
<p>(I didn’t get in NYU; I just go to hs in NYC where a lot of people get into NYU)</p>
<p>Hendrix College sends you whatever you indicated your favorite candy is. They sent me a king sized Twix. Felt bad for turning them down. </p>
<p>Emory gives students a bumper sticker and I believe now includes a cardboard cutout of our unofficial mascot, Dooley the Skeleton (wish Dartmouth could do that for Keggy the Keg. I’m sure their yield would increase dramatically)</p>
<p>Allegheny College sent a little square about how I could request a free T-shirt. So I’m guessing that counts.</p>
<p>UCLA sends out flash drives with their logo on it. (At least this year)</p>
<p>Yale sends a free t-shirt to admits with a cool logo specific to the class on the back and “Yale” on the front. I got one and I got in RD.</p>
I found this old thread which seems pretty interesting. Was wondering if anyone has any more recent examples of colleges that give free stuff upon acceptance or maybe even earlier in the admissions process.

URochester gives them out at visits. The font is really ugly though.

Texas State gives a free t-shirt (tan or maroon w/ “Texas State” on it) if you go on a tour.
S16 got a t shirt from Pitt at every visit.
UC Riverside sent out a plaid scarf upon acceptance. If you go to the open house, “Highlander Day,” then you could get a free t-shirt or two.
I have a follow up on UChicago. After the t-shirt & scarf before acceptance, my kid got an additional t- shirt with her acceptance, AND both parents (at different addresses) got t-shirts and baseball caps.
Reed sends confetti, a copy of the Illiad, a Reed pencil, notebook, and sticker.
Wellesley sent me a fridge magnet in my RD acceptance packet.
