Do you know of any schools in the southeast that prepare you well for the DAT and getting into dental school?
It’s hard to find out the percentage of people who get into dental school for each school, so I usually can’t tell how well their program is just by looking at their website.
Thanks!
Any 4 year university should be sufficient. Many schools just have pre-health advisors, and there is no such thing as a pre-dental major. You just major in whatever you want and complete the admissions prerequisites.
If you are concerned about preparation, just look at their statistics for medical school. If the school has a good reputation for preparing students well for the MCAT, then they will also do a good job preparing students for the DAT.
