I know this is really late and that I already applied to most of my schools but I was looking to add maybe one or two more that meet full need. Does anyone have any ideas? (It’d be nice if they allowed self reported scores but not essential) Thanks in advance!
Could you provide some more information? There are many schools that have later RD deadlines which would give you a little more time. Area of the country? Size of school? Stats?
@JBSeattle I’m from southern NJ at a very competitive public school. I have around a 3.6 UW GPA and a 1230 SAT. My EFC is 8k but my parents are divorced so FA can get really dicey as my father makes a lot more money than my mom (which is what the EFC is based off of). I’m attracted to bigger universities (10-15k students) with very vibrant student life and I enjoy sports culture although that’s not necessary. I prefer suburban or urban schools. Meets need schools are going to take both parents income into account with only a couple of exceptions (and their dates are in the past and your stats are not quite there for those schools anyway). What have you looked at for your in state publics?
Yes I’ve been accepted to Rutgers NB (no financial aid yet) and Rowan U was about 15k per year (and too close to hong tbh)

Seton Hall is a possibility. They have been begging my D to apply.
You have a couple days for Occidental College which meets 100% of need. In California so unsure if that is ok.
Occidental is small, not much sports culture but near USC and UCLA plus very good school from an academic prospective.
@JBSeattle Those schools will look at both parent financials, which sounds like a deal breaker for the OP unless dad is willing to pay.
My dad is willing to pay, just not a lot. I have 5 other siblings, so they have to save up. To be more clear, I have about 11k saved for school. Btw, any state is okay. Thanks for the suggestion of Occidental! I’ll look into it. I’m also studying poly sci (i think I forgot to mention it)
