My daughter would like to have some helpful input to help her decide which dorm to choose.
She has toured both dorms and knows the physical differences, and she knows the proximity to buildings and dining options. Any comments on the general atmosphere of the two dorms?

I’ve been told that the 6th floor of Collins doesn’t allow boys and there is a queer smell through out some of the floors. But the dining hall in Collins is probably the best out of all the food on campus. Inside the dorm rooms at Collins, there is only a pedestal sink, so hair products, toothpaste, etc. would have to be stored elsewhere. Russell, I’ve heard, is the better of the two. North russell, south russell it doesn’t matter. The sink actually has a counter but there is no dining hall beneath the living spaces however pen land is very close and she could go there for eats whenever she is in or close to her dorm. Hope that helps.
