<p>i noticed on collegeboard.com that only 4% of students didnt send in scores on the SAT, and that is bothering me now as i have only taken the ACT(SAT IIs as well). From what i understood, the ACT was almost as popular as the SAT. does anyone know why so few applicants sent in only ACT scores? will this affect my application?</p>

<p>Key word here is Was. Some regions do prefer the ACT but almost all of the East Coast schools will take the SAT first. But, you won't get docked points if you don't take the SAT. You do need to take subject tests though.</p>
