<p>I was reading the Columbia website and they allow for a link to "work that can be viewed online" -- does that mean, in other words, that I don't have to submit a visual art supplement via Slideroom, but can do it instead via my professional portfolio? </p>
<p>Yes. You can include the link in your app and they’ll probably look at it depending on your ECs. It’ll save you 10 bucks too. Could be different for Columbia but I asked Penn Admissions and they seem to prefer a website to your portfolio over scattered works on Slideroom.</p>
