Columbia, Brown, Barnard -- should I even try?

I’ve already sent in applications to my safety/match schools, and now I’m not sure if I should even attempt these reaches. Do I even have a chance?

It’s always worth a shot! if you want to go and you think if you get accepted you will attend, then it doesn’t hurt to try! Your credentials are up there for sure so it’s worth a shot! Good luck!

Did you take any SAT subject tests? Also, really prepare for the ACT- you’re most likely going to need a higher SAT/ACT score for Brown and Columbia. As it stands though, Columbia is going to be a reach, Brown probably a low-reach, and Barnard a match (high match worse case scenario). It really does depend on your upcoming ACT though.
