Congrats everyone!!!
I really hope some people can’t make it (UPenn’s program is the same week). I think it would be an amazing trip and I would love to go.

Rejected but I got a fee waiver.

Anyone doing the Questbridge Match?

Rejected: 6
Accepted: 4
Waitlisted: 6

I am! In fact, I’m finishing my QB app right now Columbia is my top choice. Congrats to everyone who got into CE^2!

Yeah I’m finishing up now too.

Congrats to all that got in! For those that didn’t get in, it was at least a good trial run and practice for the real application later. For those that did get in, could you please post some of your vital info…scores, extra c’s and why you think you got in. This will help …not only a reference for those that didn’t get in, it will really help next year’s class. It would have been great to know this type of information before we applied this year. Enjoy New York and Columbia!!! It’s a great school!!

I’m finishing up my questbridge app too lol. But I’m only ranking the 4 non-binding schools. And yeah with this fee waiver I’m definitely applying to Columbia!

Still haven’t gotten an e-mail, which seems strange since I did receive an e-mail that they got the transcript, etc.

Here’s like a quick list my stats. My ACT score is really low, but I think my ECs helped:

I actually don’t really have any “real” engineering experience. My current research project could technically be considered genetic engineering, but that may be a stretch. (And sorry for being so vague with all of this, I don’t want to give to much personal info, haha).

Hope this helps!!! I think my research experience and awards made a big difference. If you didn’t make it, you’re still awesome. Trust me. If you did make it, this is a nice confidence boost for college admissions, but nothing’s guaranteed! Good luck, everyone!!!

I also expressed a lot of interest in BME in my essay and talked about a science tour I went on at Columbia a while ago. I described a few aspects I love about the school and how I want to learn more about Columbia from the perspective of a student!

I haven’t gotten mine either. I did receive confirmation of receipt of the school report and the application also.

Thank you for sharing!! Very impressive…I hope other can also share, it is so helpful. Congratulations and have a great trip to CE2!! Please let us know how it went since we can use that info to help us decide to apply or not.

Thanks again!! Good Luck!!

@gatorgate15 You are right, Penn is the same weekend, and Chicago as well…S was accepted but is going to Penn instead, so there will be a waitlist slot for someone.

S got in! He is so excited. Brief stats: NMSF, ACT 36, GPA 3.89 (rigorous curriculum in a highly performing school and peer group).

Congrats @1203southview ! I hope he enjoys the experience :)

Thanks viphan!

im doing qb too! can those of you who got in please share stats? It will help those of us who did in understand ways to improve and things admission officers like! thanks! are there any other ivy league fly ins?

Did anyone here get off the waitlist?

I got off the wait list!!!
