I remember when I came to CC last year, looking for pertinent information on Columbia--there was a lot, but not as much as I would have liked.

So I thought it would be helpful, for posterity's sake, if we started one official thread listing stats, EC's, and decisions. Congratulations to everyone who got in, and good luck to everyone who hasn't yet (who has been deferred) and to those that didn't get into Columbia but will, nonetheless, end up at a great school. And, of course--Columbia 2009 :-D

recommendations from teachers and counselor were all consistent and focused a lot about what could not be found from other parts of my app (how I am with other people, what the rest of the class thinks of me, energy...)

It seems as if they only took people with sub 1500 SATs. I'm not saying anything like "Oh, you have under a 1500, you should have been rejected." Cause don't worry, i'm under 1500 too. But that seems so odd. Hrm...I'm sorry all you guys. Will you be there to support the Yale EA Massacre 2004 next week?? Please do. We're here for you now.
