I have heard that Columbia's engineering program is a lot easier to get into than the other programs offered at Columbia. Does anyone know how much easier it really is? Like Gpa, Sat wise etc

extra-curricular and leadership wise, maybe. but the vast majority of engineers i know had a 1450+ and great GPAs. the percentages are better because the applicants are more self-selecting.

Actually Columbia Engineering has the highest admission statistics among all Columbia undergraduate schools.. : Highest SAT and Highest GPA

CC has lower admit rate but it does not mean than it is harder to get into.
CC applicants are not as self-selective as Columbia Engineering applicants.

Princeton, MIT, Caltech, Stanford has higher admit rate than Columbia College but does that mean Princeton, MIT, Caltech, Stanford are easier to get into ?

Thanks guys....pupupu i cant your question but what are the stats for the engineering program and what what are the stats for the other undergraduate programs

In a sense, Caltech and MIT (and competitive engineering programs like Columbia's) might be easier to get into than getting into Harvard, Columbia College, etc. because there's less left to a chance crap shoot if you have stellar credentials.
