Thank you. That puts me at ease a little.
@juancarlos are you deffering admission to the Spring Semester?
Accepted. Other than failing a class in high school (harassment), did above average (mostly As and Bs). 2240 SAT. Attended a federal service academy for two years then left on a service year. Spent my year with female empowerment groups in SE Asia, the Church in China, helped in any way I could. Was medically disqualified when I tried to re-apply to the service academy, had to apply to normal schools, am now a successful admit to GS. My family and I couldn’t be happier. See you all in NYC!
ACCEPTED!!!
Do you guys get you letters this morning?
Congrats guys!!! I’m still waiting… :-/
Yeah had the same question. Any body hear back today?
Okay, now I’m getting scared. It seems like most people got their letters yesterday
@Gardenofbeasts idk, I’m going to see what the counselor offers in terms of classes, and schedule and decide form there. I think I’ll most likely start in the fall.
Did all the acceptance letters go out in one day?!
haha defintely not. Past few years only a small number received their acceptance before may 1st. hang in there, im still keeping my hopes up
Sorry for the panic. Thanks
haha totally understandable…i think I checked my email about 600 times just today…
Keep your heads held high going into the weekend guys. The absolute worst that can happen is you get a chance to interview and and make your application that much stronger. I hope everything works out! Sending good vibes your guys’ way!
Accepted yesterday (4/28th), guys!!! Totally stoked. Stay patient and hang in there…I also started hyperventilating after I realized notifications went out the 26th. They do this in spurts.
Stats:
3.9 GPA Honors Cert. & PTK; I had a VERY low ACT (no… really) for reasons I won’t go into and also did not take the SAT.
Not a vet, but like most of us, I had serious life challenges to overcome and being I’m also an English major…knew I nailed the essay.
So for those of you about to apply for the next submission date, grades and exams are important, but I encourage you to FOCUS ON THE ESSAY and really be authentic, thorough and MEMORABLE. Everyone has a story and sometimes we’re so used to our own that we never think how inspirational and victorious our lives are everyday. Still be straight forward and stick to the essay points…but don’t forget to BE YOU. Good luck!
Hey, Congrats!
Just curious, did you apply for regular decision or early?
Did anyone receive an interview?
I am als a vet without extracurricular. 3.93 GPA.
Medically retired navy with service connected disability.
No. So you have to take ALP test?
Has anyone heard anything today?
