Columbia Honors Princeton History Professor With Prestigious Bancroft Prize

<p>Professor Sean Wilentz, the head of the American Studies program at Princeton and a well-known historian, has just received the Bancroft Prize for his work entitled "The Rise of American Democracy: Jefferson to Lincoln." The Bancroft Prize is considered to "be among the most prestigious in the field of history."</p>
