<p>I'm in a bit of a predicament with the Columbia intrests section of the application form, specifically this question:</p>

<p>"List the films, performances, exhibits, concerts, shows, lectures, etc. you enjoyed most in the past year"</p>

<p>I'm from the Caribbean and don't necessarily have access to the traditional or 'typical' shows , exhibits etc. Meaning, most things are very Caribbean and hence I assume admissions may be confused as to what I mean. I'd like to put my list in context of where I'm from but the very nature of the word "list" indicates that they just want a list. I was wondering where would I indicate that? Also keeping in mind the character limit.
Please please please could you help me?</p>

<p>I suggest that you try to make your list as clear as possible by including brief phrases of explanation where possible, and if you feel it is still necessary, include a note in the “anything else you’d like to say” section.</p>
