Haaavadd. Say it to yourself. It just sounds smart. So I know you won't steer me wrong. To put it simply, Columbia or Yale?

It depends on what you're looking for in a school.

If you're a prestige whore, Yale.

Delay admission to Yale for 4 years, so you can attend both. 4 years back and forth is not too much in the big scheme of things, and you will be Mr. Two Degrees. Say it. Twooo Degreees. Sounds smart.

/David

haha it does

Honestly though, I think you should choose solely based on how much you think you will enjoy your time there - I can not imagine that the difference in potential "prestige" is worth 4 years of potential unhappiness.

/David

If you're a prestige whore... Yale.
I personally prefer Coumbia.
Though I'd go to Harvard before either given the choice.

Columbia wins on location, but I think Yale has a better campus life and a slight academic edge, so that's where I'd go.

There is a huge difference between Yale and Columbia, much greater than between Yale and Harvard.

Columbia has a strict core requirement which emphasizes the humanities; Yale has a distribution requirement.
Yale is in a small city. Columbia is in one of the largest cities in the world.

Depends on your prospective major as well.

Sciences - Yale
Humanities/Engineering - Columbia

lol humanities for columbia over yale?

No way

go to yale...

sorry columbia was too much funn I had to pick it

Why would you ask about Yale at the Harvard boards... gee that's just a brilliant way of getting a completely unbiased opinion.

thread hijacker

Go to Kent State, Penn State, Ohio State, Arizona State, or Michigan State. Way better parties than those loser nerd schools you elistist snobs have mentioned. :)

except columbia joev

Isn't Columbia like in Spanish Harlem or something?

morningside heights right in manhatten harlem is to the right times square is to the left, i have no idea where spanish harlem is not close tho, parties were great bottom line way better than yales

columbiaoryale, you have good taste. I'll see you next year!
