how is columbia's pre-med programs?

I really love the school but a lot of people are telling me that it isn't the right choice if i want to go into medicine. I'm thinking-- It's undergrad! it doesn't matter; plus it has a good med school right.....

well ne ways my top question remains the same^

Go check out Columbia's website for yourself. Don't just listen to someone else's opinion. Did they give you any reasons behind that? Look if Columbia is right for you, and that goes beyond simply if their pre-med program is "good." Good luck!

This has no relevance whatsoever. Princeton's a great undergrad and a fine place to be a premed, but they don't have a med school at all.

They're fine. Pick a school you want to attend. The "premed" courses are the same everywhere.

Who is saying this and why are they saying it's so? It's probably nonsensical.

I'm really in love with Columbia, and also want to go into medicine. When I visited they said they didn't have a specific program, but a pre-med "track," and advisors to help you. With the core, it might be hard to fit all those science classes in, but I'm still going to Columbia, if I get in.
