So I applied ED to Columbia and was rejected. I am a white male that lives in NY and the three schools I am applying to are Fordham, NYU-Poly and Princeton. I plan on majoring in physics, with minors in biology and math.

2nd in chemistry competition

I think that is all. Please tell me if I missed anything important. So anyway, Princeton, Fordham, NYU poly. I'll chance back :)

Are you certain you don’t want any schools between Princeton and NYU Poly? Princeton will be a major reach, the competition is especially brutal if you’re white and from NY as it was at Columbia.

I am uninterested in any schools outside of NYC except for Princeton. In NYC, Poly is the second best school after Columbia, which has already rejected me. So I really can’t have an in-between school.

I think Princeton will be a reach for you, only thing I can see is that your EC’s are pretty much in the same area, but other than that, great test scores in what you plan on doing.

in at fordham and NYU-poly. Princeton is a huge reach, but its better to try then to not try at all, right? So no schools outside NYC area?? come on bro, think about it…

You should almost definitely be in at Fordham and NYU-Poly. The thing about Poly is you can practically cartwheel into the school, but the I was told by students that the science courses were really hard and they have a pretty abysmal graduation rate.
