<p>Hey, so the Columbia Science Invitational is happening next Friday, July 24 (oddly enough, my birthday!), and I'm strongly considering attending. I was just wondering what happens that separates this from other visits, etc? If someone with experience could describe it that would be great.</p>
<p>Did you end up going? I got an invitation to the 2011 one just today, and also am considering attending. I’m in South Florida, but found a great deal on flights and a hotel. Columbia is my first choice; I’ll be applying ED. Also, did you end up applying and did you get accepted?</p>
