<p>so i was accepted and got an invite this morning to columbia college days.</p>

<p>i noticed in that email a bolded paragraph telling me to contact so and so about the science research opportunities at columbia during my visit...</p>

<p>i also got a copy of their science research journal and a letter from a science department rep not too long after i received my likely letter by mail.</p>

<p>i did talk alot bout my high school research experience in my essays.</p>

<p>i was just wondering, do all science focused students who might have declared a science major in their application get stuff like this?</p>

<p>I did not get that in my email, but I applied to neuroscience, which I guess isn’t totally in the science department.</p>
