<p>To people who have taken the Columbia Summer Program or who are about to apply, does anyone know what Columbia is specifically looking for in the personal statement?</p>
<p>I don’t think it’s a particularly competitive summer program. I went two summers ago. Just try to highlight what makes you mature and responsible, or what your unique qualifications are or experiences have been.</p>
