I have a question regarding Columbia's College Report (Statement of Good Standing or w/e). Can someone tell me where it is located? I don't know where I can obtain a copy to give to my college advisor.

it's in the online application. On the left side, there are some options, one of them is "downloadable forms". Of course, you need to sign in first and submit the 1st application.

BTW, i'm curious..is the "statement of good standing" form should be fill out by the dean/advisor? I mean, what they are aksing for is pretty similar with the recommendation letter. Can't my professor fill in that form too?

no they cant, the registrar's office needs to give it an official stamp usually that just says you arent on academic probation, havent gotten into any trouble over the year, and would be allowed back at your current school if you chose to remain.

Does anyone transferring really know much about the true "flavor" of Columbia? Is there comraderie or is it terribly cutthroat? Is it a place where you can form strong friendships? What have you all heard (aside from the fact that it's Ivy League and prestigious)?
