my interviewer said 1st quarter grades are sort of a big deal, almost as important as your junior year -- because you need to balance a lot senior year so it's a real challenge/test.

ALSO -- my teacher said to me today, "so are you in yet?" and i said, "no." and then he went on this tangent about how i have great scores and a great gpa - why wouldn't i? BECAUSE PRACTICALLY EVERYONE WHO APPLIES HAS THOSE hahaha

ugh i know. i mostly just wanna know when we find out...i don't want to just randomly check my email one day and have it be there, i need to mentaly prepare myself!

haha yeah, but I'm hoping that when they get together they will decide on a date and then let us know!
but right now, I'm counting on it being the 15th, and then if it ends up being earlier it will seem like time went by faster haha

First quarter grades? My high school has 2 semesters, each consisting of 3 six-week grading periods. 2 six-weeks have passed and the grades are on my report card but not my transcript. Do I send in my report card?

or rather, hoping the 15th (or whenever) never comes and living til the end of time without being exposed to such disappointment :-p/--/OO

mmm yeah that would be nicee :)
hopefully Columbia hasn't read my application yet cause I can't send my 1st quarter report card in until Dec. 1 :(
I wonder if they read applications in ABC or time recieved order? Hopefully one of them cause I'd be at the end either way :D

Your counselor was supposed to include it with your secondary school report, but I talked to mine and she didn't, so I faxed them my report card. Same with the AP scores.

I'm willing to bet that they'll announce results on the 12th of December. Seems a bit cruel for them to make us wait through a weekend for the 15th.

yeah i wish they'd just tell us what day they're going to do it though. it's weird that they haven't yet, i know that brown and cornell have announced the date. i just assumed that i would know the date that i would find out by thanksgiving, and here thanksgiving has come and gone... and i still don't know. i guess i'll just tell myself the 15th and then be pleasantly surprised when it comes earlier (hopefully).
