[li] Gender: female[/li][/ul]Other Factors: I thnk my interview went pretty well, though I worry that I grossed the woman out a bit because my shoulder popped four times during the interview (I'm a gymnast, I crack a lot for no reason) General Comments: This is amazing! I got rejected at Dartmouth and Harvard before going to the gym tonight and when I got back I told my mom I was off to get my last rejection. When she heard me scream she knew I got in! The only bad part is if I'd've gotten rejected I'd've known where I was going next year, but now I don't.

I wouldn't be so quick to judge your chances luce, it seems to me that you're a pretty strong waitlistee! The question is: Do you want to be on the waitlist? Looking at your profile, it seems as though you have prob gotten into similarly competitive schools, no?

I founded and am president of a jazz society at my school, and helped organize a huge jazz dance as a fundraiser for music. I'm a National Merit Finalist. I did a lot of other * too, it's just I can't remember everything. General Comments:
This makes me so sad because I really feel like I should have gotten in SOMEWHERE. I got rejected from the whole ivy league, including Penn. This was the best I did (getting waitlisted). The bad thing is that MY WHOLE SCHOOL got rejected from the Ivy League, and I go to a school where usually 20 or 30 people go Ivy. At least 40 of us have >2300 and >4.3, and stellar extracurriculars, and we're all really sad. I got into Wellesley, NYU (Presidential Scholar), all the UCs, and waitlisted at JHU. I guess I'm going to Berkeley.

Columbia was sort of my first choice, up with two other schools (that I got into). I'm definitely staying on the wait list. If for some reason I get off the wait list, I'll have to make a decision. I'll certainly be happy at one of the other two, but I don't want to rule Columbia out just yet, you know?

luce, well it seems as though you're not dependent on getting off the waitlist, so I guess you're not too sad?

sofi, what happened at your school? What you described sounds seriously like a nightmare! I can't believe that you didn't make it into an Ivy, it's almost ridiculous. Was your high school involved in some sort of scandal?
