My school guidance counselor told me that they called and asked for my transcripts last week. I assume she meant for this semester, since they already received all my other grades.
I know that it is uncommon, and there’s no way to know at this point why they did it, but they did call my guidance counselor.
why some applicants have already gotten their decisions?
I was deferred from columbia as well. Now getting worried now. lol
I was deferred but Columbia is my dream school. Hoping for the best!
@InvictusManeo @idkbruhh Interviews are not granted to borderline applicants-- they are posted and alum volunteers choose them based upon like interests or proximity. @enot112 Besides ED applicants and likely letter recipients, no one has gotten their decisions yet.
^Agreed. I actually asked my interviewer about that before I left, and she seemed surprised that people thought that was the case. She said that she chose me off a list because she wanted to interview someone interested in the social sciences like her, and also because she thought the name of my high school was cool.
When are decisions coming out?
@Nyawke They sent out an email a couple days ago. Decisions are coming out on March 31 at 5 PM EST.
Did some people already get their decisions?

My friend’s daughter said she got accepted yesterday. Freak me out.
