I haven't decided on a major, although I will likely choose international politics, political economy, or economics, with a minor or concentration in creative writing. I received very little financial aid from Columbia - while my family's financial situation is somewhat precarious, we could probably manage to pay for it, although there would be little left over for grad school, which I would need to pay for on my own.

Fordham's Lincoln Center campus, where I applied, has an even more central NYC location than Columbia, and their merit aid offer is incredible. The downside is that I dislike the Catholic school atmosphere and I'm not sure how to compare the value of a Fordham Honors degree to Columbia. I'm not enormously social and I'm not sure USC's party-heavy campus climate would fit me well, but the combination of rigorous academics and excellent aid offer is persuasive.

Any advice is welcome. Thanks so much!
